About this camp: This virtual camp has been designed for children to enjoy, have fun and learn. Our virtual February Half-Term camps are small to enable tutors and children greater scope for interaction, dialogue, questions and answers. We motivate children to develop their coding (python) skills while having fun. We also stimulate children to be creative. We teach children to learn how to identify a problem and look for a solution. We also foster the development of resilience. Sometimes, some children tend to give up easily. We teach children that they need to try for alternate solutions to a given problem. What we teach: Learn and consolidate fundamental principles of Python as a coding language. Learn how to write simple Python programs. Understand how programs work and what code does. Work on practical activities such as building their own applications and building a chatbot. Develop problem-solving skills, teamwork and resilience. Differentiation: We understand that ‘one size does not fit all‘. Therefore, our tutors and mentors differentiate the content of our sessions. We ensure that all children, regardless of their level of knowledge, are engaged at the appropriate level and pace. Starts on Febuary
